The first edition of the UFV Agricultural Microbiology Students and Alumni Meeting will be held in November, during the program of the VI International Symposium on Microbiology and Biotechnology (SIMB2023).

For the first time, the symposium will have a moment specifically aimed at exchanging experiences between former PPG students and current master’s and doctoral students, as a way of strengthening the researchers’ network.

“The idea came from our perception of the importance of bringing alumni and students together, expanding our collaboration network. Today there are many calls for proposals, many opportunities for projects to be developed as a network, and this will be a valuable opportunity to identify and build future partnerships,” explains the PPG coordinator, Professor Wendel Silveira.

Also with the intention of boosting contacts between graduates and students, the PPG is preparing the Alumni Portal, which should be available online soon.
