On Thursday, May 25, the Graduate Program in Agricultural Microbiology at the Federal University of Viçosa (PPGMBA/UFV) published the criteria that will govern the selection process for filling vacancies for the master’s and doctoral courses in the second semester of 2023 (2023-II).

The notice provides for the distribution of up to 11 places for the Master’s degree (3 places reserved for quotas) and 09 for the Doctorate (2 places reserved for quotas). In addition to these regular vacancies, a further 01 PhD vacancy will be offered exclusively for the CNPq/MAI-DAI call for projects entitled “Biotechnology applied to the diagnosis and control of pathogens of agricultural and human interest (Sítio Barreiras Fruticultura Ltda)”.

The vacancies will be distributed between the research lines “Genetics, physiology and ecology of microorganisms” and “Microbiological processes and products”.
